The Hansnett Herd of Ruby Red Devon Cattle was started in 1992 with Dingle Polled foundation cows and since then increased to 15 cows and followers.
The Hansnett Herd has achieved success in the show ring, notably:
- Hansnett Hamilton winning Devon Bull of the Year 2008 and Male Champion at both The Royal Show 2008 and the Three Counties Show 2008.
- Hansnett Fancie 12th won Devon Breed Champion at the Royal Show 2008.
Hansnett Farm has been very successful in breeding pedigree stock bulls – many of which are breeding countrywide.
The Hansnett Herd was sold in 2018 and are now resident at Perry Stone Estate, Ross-on-Wye, where they are seen to be thriving.
