Pekin bantams have been residents at Hansnett Farm for longer than we can remember! Over the years we have bred various different colours and also shown our poultry with success.
Pekins are very docile and easy to care for, and with careful and regular handling they make ideal pets. The hens lay up to 180 small white eggs per year and are known to be good sitters and very attentive mothers. Pekins also have feathered feet and toes – a really cute characteristic!
